Why must i sign a contract?
The contract gives us legal permission to handle your insurance claim for you. Without it, the insurance company will not work with us. It also guarantees that if Rossman Construction spends our time and money working on your claim that we have the work. However, if the insurance company denies the claim, you owe nothing. What causes damage to my home during a storm? There are numerous factors in play when determining the scope of loss from a storm. Hail, high winds, heavy rains, falling trees/branches, debris, etc.. Sometimes a homeowner will never even know that they have serious damage to their home without a trained professionals inspection. Here at Rossman Construction we take pride in understanding that every insurance claim is different and a new challenge and knowing that we are trained and ready. Can making a storm damage claim make my rates go up? No. Storm damage claims are considered an act of god. Your insurance company cannot raise your rates, or drop you from your policy because you filed a storm damage claim. How long do i have to file a claim? Typically you have 1 to 2 years after the storm to file a claim with your insurance company. My insurance company already said i have no damage but i know it is damaged. What can i do? The best scenario is to have Rossman Construction present at the time the adjuster comes to evaluate the damages to your home. However if you think that your damages have been overlooked and you have been denied money for repairs, just call us, Rossman Construction will do everything we can to ensure you are reimbursed fully and that your home is restored properly, leaving you a satisfied customer. How long will the whole restoration process take? Typically our roofing jobs are done in 1 to 2 days, while an average siding job can take 5 days or more. The longest part is waiting on the insurance company to approve estimates and release checks.
